Introduction
PsyAsia's One-Day Psychometric
Test Administration Course provides
delegates with the ability to understand and competently
practice the administration of ability and personality assessments
in organizational settings.
Course Timing
The course commences
at 9.30am and finishes between 5pm and 56p,pm depending
on discussion and delegate needs. Please do not schedule
anything else during the day. Delegates who are absent for
any part of the course will not be able to receive certification.
After the course
Successful delegates
will be qualified to administer psychometric ability
and personality tests, including all tests offered by PsyAsia
International. Delegates will still need to complete
our Psychometric
Assessment at Work Course before they are able to score
or interpret ability tests and personality assessments respectively.

PsyAsia's Test Administration
courses are facilitated by experienced cross-cultural organizational
psychologists who hold registration with professional bodies
in Hong Kong, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Who is this course
for?
Delegates on this course
usually come from organizations that already have trained
test users in-house and wish to delegate the time-consuming
task of administration. Alternatively, organizations new
to the test arena often send delegates on this course and
use PsyAsia to score and interpret the tests, with a view
to investing in the more advanced
training courses at a later date.

Course Objectives
-to explain the basic
theory and principles of ability and aptitude testing

-to train participants to administer ability and aptitude

-to train participants to administer personality tests
Professional Certification
All attendees who remain present for
the whole day and administer and score tests to the required
standard will receive a certificate from PsyAsia International,
signed by our registered psychologists. Optionally, for
a small additional fee, delegates may choose to be assessed
for the British Psychological Society's Certificate of Competence
in Test Administration providing them with an internally
recognised certificate following the course.
Course Content
Participants will be
shown examples of personality tests, a number of general
ability tests and several tests of specific aptitudes. In
addition to discussing practical procedures of administration,
the course will also cover a number of further issues essential
for their competent and proper usage in the company: viz.
theory and principles of testing, elementary test theory
and ethical issues. Additionally, participants will be introduced
to the logistics of testing within the company.
